Case Study: Delicious!

Client: Pentillie Castle

Services: PR, Content, Blog

When we met owners Ted and Sarah Coryton, and their talented daughter Sammie, they had just survived Channel 4's County House Rescue, on which the formidable Ruth had torn into Sarah's decor plans for the castle renovation. One look at her quivering lip and we knew we had to help. On the day we arrived at Pentillie, the builders and decorators were reviving this sleeping beauty of a castle from 40 years of slumber. Ten years later Pentillie is a five star rated B&B, wedding, business and events venue - the star of Sky One's hit show Delicious starring Dawn French - and home to some of the most interesting and eclectic events and experiences on the Cornish calendar. We helped Pentillie define their offer in the early years, set up initial comms channels, like the much-loved Pentillie newsletter, and then communicated to media why Pentillie is so special.

From shaping the PenGrillie BBQ festival, to inviting bloggers to visit Pentillie Retreats, to promoting Wild Suppers, Outdoor Cinema and unique experiences like Mad Dog & Seth Lakeman floating down the River Tamar on a barge playing a gig, to making jaws drop at The Antiques Roadshow... there's always something to talk about at this delicious Cornish Castle.

Pentillie has appeared regularly in everything from The Telegraph, Wed magazine to BBC Radio Cornwall to LoveSaltash.

We like to think we've made it easy to to say 'I do!' to five star, award-winning Pentillie.
